Frequently Asked Questions

What age is pretend town suitable for?

Our sessions are ideal for children from walking to age 6. Grown-ups are encouraged to join in the fun — the sessions are designed to support bonding through shared play.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes — advance online booking is required through our website. Spaces are limited to ensure a relaxed, high-quality experience for all. Contact contact@pretendtown.co.uk if you experience any issues.

Can I bring siblings?

Yes, absolutely! Babies (pre-walkers) can attend for free, and siblings are welcome to join at a discounted rate.

Do adults need a ticket?

Each booking includes entry for one accompanying adult free of charge. Babies in arms also do not require a ticket. For group tickets, up to two adults may attend with the children covered by that ticket. Due to insurance and venue capacity limits, we cannot guarantee space for extra adults. However, if you’d like to bring another grown-up along, please get in touch with us in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate them if space allows.

Do I need to stay with my child during the session?

Yes, a responsible adult is required to remain with your child throughout the session. This ensures your child’s safety and helps create an engaging, supervised experience for everyone.

Can I bring drinks & snacks?

You’re welcome to bring drinks and small snacks. Please note that we ask food to be enjoyed away from the play zones, this is to ensure they remain clean and safe. We also appreciate that you consider any allergy or dietary concerns that may affect other guests.

What is your cancellations policy?

We understand that plans change. Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will be refunded. Unfortunately, cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice or no-shows cannot be refunded.
